Help on Setting Up Wi-Fi On an iPod

Setting up Wi-Fi on your iPod Touch is a fairly straightforward process. Make sure you're in range of a wireless network when you set up your device, so you can test a connection once you activate wireless functionality. Connect to both broadcasting networks and hidden networks with the iPod Touch. You will need the network password to connect to a secure network. To connect to a hidden network, you will need to know the SSID, also known as the network name, the network security type and the network password if security is configured on the network. The iPod Touch is the only iPod model that can receive Wi-Fi.
